Pivotal needed a way to authentically communicate its diversity and inclusion (D&I) efforts across a fast-growing organization. With stories and initiatives emerging from multiple teams, the challenge was building a unified voice and aesthetic that reflected the company’s culture while resonating with employees at every level.
Solution
As the Visual Communications Specialist, I bridged brand, marketing, and internal comms to weave D&I into the employee experience. I created visual identities for key initiatives, produced employee storytelling videos, and led the design and packaging of the 2018 D&I Annual Report and blog. Beyond design, I shaped communications strategy—embedding D&I narratives into All Hands meetings, launching Pivotal Rise (our HBCU partnership), and creating branded assets for major cultural moments. The result: a more connected, visible, and resonant culture of inclusion.
